In her installations that echo the formal language of constructivist avant-garde, minimal and conceptual tendencies of the 60s and the 70s as well as a heritage of modernist architecture, Monika Sosnowska constructs a physical and conceptual labyrinth, a post-narrative, inner world of spatiality, staged in a sequence of interventions that emphasize space’s virtualities and potentials.

Since the late 1960s it has become apparent that a number of artists have held increasingly skeptical views concerning the acceleration in Western societies. Exponents of Arte Povera, Concept Art and other groups have focused increasingly on the losses that have accompanied this continual acceleration in the pace of life.

In 2006, the Kunstmuseum Liechtenstein acquired the Rolf Ricke Collection together with the Kunstmuseum St. Gallen and the Museum für Moderne Kunst Frankfurt. The exhibition presents the higlights in this collection.

The two exhibitions juxtapose the Herbert Zangs and Joseph Beuys not primarily in their artistic work but in light of their similar heritage.
