In parts they thus reprised trends that had been developed by the European avant- gardes in the period prior to the Second World War. The largely coinciding interests of these artists also led to a Europe-wide network that resulted, among other things, in joint exhibitions. The Croatian group GORGONA, who had close ties with Morellet, Manzoni and other artists, was also part of this network.
On show are works of Max Bill, Lucio Fontana, Gottfried Honegger, Yves Klein, Heinz Mack, Piero Manzoni, François Morellet, Otto Piene, Victor Vasarely and Herbert Zangs, among others.
