Digital services

Kunstmuseum Liechtenstein has reopened its doors on Friday, 15 May 2020. Still, we also invite you to discover the museum from home—even if we are convinced that this can never be a substitute for a real museum visit.

We will continue offering you an insight into our current exhibitions and other aspects of highly varied museum work. We hope that you enjoy exploring our digital services!

MUST-SEE: OUR VIMEO CHANNEL

The Kunstmuseum's Vimeo channel lets you take an audiovisual tour of the current exhibition Steven Parrino. Nihilism Is Love or watch in on the commentaries of the two curators about a particular work or subject. Plus which, trailers and films from past exhibitions, contributions on specific works from the collection, discussions and much more. Be sure to take a look!

ART FOR LISTENING: AUDIO FEATURES (IN GERMAN)

We present selected artworks from the current exhibitions in the form of audio features (in German). Susanne Kudorfer talks about Steven Parrino, Frenzy in a Far Flung Future, 1982; Friedemann Malsch about an untitled drawing by Parrino; and Christiane Meyer-Stoll about Awesome Power (Red and Blue), 2014 by the artist Pamela Rosenkranz.

SPOTLIGHT: THE ARTWORK OF THE MONTH

Every month the Kunstmuseum turns the spotlight on a work from its own collection or a permanent loan, with works from the Hilti Art Foundation collection also featuring on a regular basis. You'll find the current artwork of the month here, and here is a link to the archive.

SEARCH OR BROWSE: THE COLLECTION ONLINE

The Kunstmuseum Liechtenstein collection has been online for several years now. We have put together a summary of basic information about the collection on this page.

FOR READERS: TEXTS AND INTERVIEWS

A Russian art theory magazine interviewed Friedemann Malsch about the museum as an institution, its role in society, and the (new) tasks facing it today. You can download the interview (in English) here.

DO IT YOURSELF

Based on the current presentations and the upcoming exhibition Parliament of Plants we have put together some activities for you to do at home. We look forward to receiving your feedback and submissions!
