Themed around the dynamics and function of rumours and gossip, the multi-part work Rumor was developed by Salon Liz especially for the exhibition On the Street.
In an open studio in the side-light gallery, Salon Liz held talks and collected rumours, weaving them together to create textile objects and items of clothing. With visitors participating, they staged performative moments within and around the museum.
During this time, the artists also created the Rumor gossip magazine, that picks up the collected rumours, elaborating on them and demonstrating their positive potential.
